Tillian 5 - A New Beginning

This novel, the first of a trilogy, is the recounting of Captain Malcolm (Skip) Rogers of the starship Tillian Star. The story starts at the arrival at Tillian 5 (the fifth planet of the Tillian System). The star Tillian is a red giant and the planet holds many mysteries including having lavish vegetation and mild climate in a very inhospitable orbit. The heroine is Maggie, a lovesick intelligent guidance computer that is part of the starship. This is Earth's first expeditionary force to settle a new planet so Captain Rogers was very concerned that everything worked out as planned. From the very beginning thing were, well different and enemies real and imagined multiplied. You will fall in love with Maggie. Almost everyone else does.
